Side Quest Ill Repute CTD - Code 0xC0000374
Using KCD2 patch 1.2.4, during the Ill Repute quest, I get to the bath house to start asking questions of the bath maids, I ask the question of the first bath maid (Mary), and go through all of the options, and she does all of the replies, and at the end of her reply, I get a Crash To Desktop (CTD), without the Warhorse crash screen. Does not matter what Bath maid I start with, at the end of their answers, I get a CTD.

Looking into the event viewer, under the Windows Log; Application section there is an error entry:

Faulting application name: KingdomCome.exe, version: 1.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x67f36a38

-----

Code 0xC0000374 is STATUS_HEAP_CORRUPTION (A heap has been corrupted.)

Assuming that your Windows system is up to date and none of the usual checks for corruption has indicated a problem ( system file checker, dism ) then this is an issue that should be addressed by the author of the application.

-----

I have done the normal troubleshooting like make sure the drivers are update, deleted the shaders directory, used steam to verify the game files are installed correctly, and still no luck.

Any one else seeing this? Any other options to try? Is this a Warhorse bug to fix?

Hi, did you solve the problem? Did you write to support?

I've never experienced this. I've done that quest twice but not since the latest patch yet.
You should definitely report this on the game website.
This was the quest i was doing when i started getting the save crashes
Yes, I wrote to support, we are waiting for an answer
Did you manage to solve it somehow?
No, as many others, game is unplayable for me. Something to do with save files if you use mods, however ive seen a few peeps saying its happening with none.

theres a mod on nexus thats apparently a temp fix but problem still comes back.

i would have hoped the devs would have given us a response by now. Theres alot of unhappy players
so the game runs fine without mods?
some say yes, some say no. i deleted my mods from steam workshop and still having the same issues.
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

I managed to solve this error with the help of this mod https://www.nexusmods.com/kingdomcomedeliverance2/mods/1765?tab=description
I can confirm that the fix posted by moamar IV does address this issue. The KCD2 Modlist Cleaner application worked for this. Just follow the directions from the mod author.

• launch the application KCD02-Modlist-Cleaner-win-Setup.exe (screen will flash with command window)
• Navigate to the saves folder
◦ %userprofile%\Saved Games\Kingdomcome2\saves\
• Right-Click on the save file and select Clean Modlist from the drop-down list
◦ The process is done, and the save file should be fixed
• Note: To uninstall the application, go the programs in the control panel, find KCD2 Modlist Cleaner and select uninstall
