What happened to Ambrose's Broken Sword?
I found the pretender hermit, he wouldn't help, however. I think I ended up trying to lockpick his stuff, but he noticed and tried to punch me, so I hit him with a poisoned weapon (I can't remember if I shot him or slashed him w/ my sword, it was like at least week or two ago IRL.), and he died. I believe there was a book I read and after bumbling around for a while, I found the sword. Eventually went back the Radovan or w/e his name is again, says I have to make it. Well, very much CBA at the moment b/c I honestly find the forging minigame to be dull AF (esp. b/c all you really have to do is hit near where you last hit and then where you did the first time as the game only tracks where your last hit was), and I wanted to get all the side quests done first. Anyways, that bandit noble sent me after his last guy, but says to let him walk. I literally can't b/c I'm a total poison build b/c I suck at melee. So I off him, except before I left Semine, I choked that noble guy out and stole all his gear. (Mostly wanted the helmet, but much of his gear was better than what I had at the time.) So, I figure to cover my <donkey word> I'll wait out the stolen tag and go to Tachov. I have nothing better to do b/c all the merchants are broke and I still have a metric <excrement> ton of loot, so I guess I'll level up my craftsmanship skill. Except, I just notice, I DON'T HAVE THE BROKEN SWORD. I checked my inventory, and NADA! Not there! I'd think the game wouldn't let me sell it, and I don't think I did even if it would let me. So, I don't know where it could be. It's not in my magic trunk thing. The only things I have in there are a ton of extra arrows. It's not on my horse, either. What in the HOTEL ECHO LIMA LIMA am I supposed to do? I mean, I've gotten to a similar-ish level w/ the miller's quest line at this point, but I was always planning on going the blacksmithing route, assuming it wouldn't lock me out of the miller's quest line.

At the hut go back to the ravine, then left up the hill, under a tree there's a grave and ass Egg said, the sword is used as a cross.
Yes, Henry even commented on it. I dug up his grave but as soon as I hit the button to dig it, I noticed the sword. I mean, I even took it back to Radovan or w/e his name is again and he told me to make it. I mean, I could try going back there and seeing if it's there, but I know that I picked it up.
Maybe you can still make the sword if you go back to Radovan?

I picked up the hermit's sword and reported about it to the blacksmith to finish the quest.

In my list of sword-making recipes is the Hermit's Sword - but I don't have the broken bit that's needed. I was going to not bother forging it as it's not too good - but now I'm also wondering how to find that needed broken piece that I worked hard to get.

Great quest that, and blacksmithing is very enjoyable.

Superb game, highly addictive and recommended to RPG fans.

Nope, he has no dialog options regarding it. There is an option to say your read to go to the wedding, but I'm wanting to do all the side quests first.
Somebody needs a new keyboard because apparently the Enter button is broken.

That's weird, sounds like you've already made the sword.
Or maybe Radovan has the broken sword and he'll only give you the option to forge it when you say you're ready to go to the wedding?
I think that you should just carry on doing all the sidequests yo want to and then when you're ready to go to the wedding go back to Radovan and pick that option.

The broken sword gets destroyed, if u forge the new sword. Radovan will take the new sword. That's why you are ready to go to the wedding

Hirmh... It is plausible I made the sword and completely forgot about it. I am AuDHD after all. lol
Did you access the anvil once you returned to Radovan with the broken sword and said you would make it? Is it possible that you can still reforge it by doing so?
