have you people checked to make sure the issue is not on your end ? played an hour or so since the patch and things still working fine ( still on the first map ).

Look Reddit and look Steam Community....you really think so many Guys the reason for this Probs after Update? I Think not. I can say that i didnt change anything after update and before update - i dont have any Probs....after....i cant save...

with mods on, unable to save and game crashes in process of saving. All forms of saving causes crashes: Schnapps, sleep in bed, auto save from story plot progression.
with mods off, able to save.
had no issue with saving with mods turned on prior to hardcore mod update patch.
unable to continue game with the crashes.
please bring awareness to this post.

Nope the problem is somewhere in the last patch. I have been testing for several hours. I have 769 saves. 641 of those were all made before this patch and all are working fine with no issues. If I load any save that was made before this patch for example the last one 641 and then try to save then it is fine game makes a new save file normally. BUT when i load the game from any save that was made after the patch like save 642 or 769 for example and then i try to save the game just crashes and makes a save file with 0kb size corrupted save that can't be even loaded...
(for whatever reason from 128 saves that were made after the patch only save number 713 works normally idk why what is different about this save but that is an exception)

So to answer your question. NO, the problem is not on our site but on the patch there are multipple reports of this happeing here on steam within forums and on reddit.

When I rename my Mods folder, suddenly I can save again... ugh.

Same here. I was only able to play with mods again by loading my last save from before the patch (April 14th). I had to remove and reinstall all my mods and reload from that save. It seems to be working now, but I’m still testing... At least I managed to save the game again.
But of course… I lost many hours of gameplay !!
Warhorse really needs to fix this ASAP!!!

I also made numerous saves without problems after the Hardcore Mode update. It's only less than an hour ago that it started crashing on save.

Make sure you all report this to WH on their website, the more people report it the quicker it will be fixed
