Bringing Axes and Maces up to par with swords.
I understand swords are supposed to be the master's weapon, but with swords having the only access to master strikes, it really makes other weapons meh in comparison, especially in ganks.

So what if axes and maces had some unique properties like sword has master strikes?

Blunt weapons (maces, warhammer etc.) - hits to the head can knock an enemy down, possibly making them drop their weapons, with higher heavy weapon skill and strength, there is also a higher chance of straight knocking them out.

Axes - Arterial bleeding, axes are a bit different to swords, where swords cuts and then "slides out" an axe digs in and tears as its pulled out - this could cause massive bleeding that can kill much much faster, and thus can make an opponent's surrender much more likely to happen.

Maces are OP already. If you pick up perks on reducing enemies' armor properties for calculations of an impact, they kill enemies in 1-2 strikes on the first map and 2-3 on the second (main quest NPCs are not included).

Axes were sh1t even in KCD1, so I never tried them.

I'm trying to play with maces on HC (I played with swords on vanilla) and it's just such a difference fighting a 1v4 with a mace and a sword. Normal attacks leave you open, while master strikes are insanely safe.

I could be also very fricking early (I have no clue how strong maces are late game), but I would really like if other weapons had some unique mechanic like sword has master strikes.

Master strike in KCD2 is the most annoying stuff in the franchise, used it only if the opponents had too high agility, so they blocked most of the strikes. And hated every second of it) I'm entering Kingdom Come games not to play tetris in combat, but drink in taverns, go on dates, make some side-quests, eat nice venison, e.t.c.) Combat is just the thing Jindro does for a living.

Master strikes aren't necessary you just got too used to them. What I really miss about maces is thrust attacks
