Post bathing scene at pond unable to escape

I am in the very beginning after finding a bunch of girls bathing and me and my idiot noble swim across the pond to escape. I am now on my own and I keep getting caught. How do you escape the 20ish people chasing you? They find me every time or catch me if i run.

You shouldnt be on your own. After the pond swim you should be right behind Hans. Y'all sneak for a bit then he has you check around a corner and then you come back to see him gone turn around and find the exit youll see him again. Continue the story.

When Hans swims away you're supposed to do the same thing, then follow his lead through the first few sets of guards. There is one point where he asks you to scout ahead and you get separated, but after you go back to where he was waiting and find him gone all you need to do is turn around and go back up the route you scouted , take the left down the canyon path and continue on until you find him at the end.
