I don't even remember ever mentioning it at all, but I have 90 hours in the game so it must have been a single conversation to a random ass NPC.
I think I figured out what was causing this. When you encounter Vavak in the Ruthard's courtyard the second time and present him with the evidence, it may be the "You've been minting coins" option as opposed to the "You've been stealing silver".
I don't know for sure, because I haven't got through to the point of picking up the key from that unmentionable place yet in the currrent playthrough.
Correct it depends on what dialogue you chose. Stealing silver is the one that gets Christian on your side.
I thought that Christian were on my side since the Via Argentum quest, where we came to an understanding.
