Christian of Pisek during Orates?
Why is he attacking me? I never snitched about his plans, like he is accusing of me of. I'd like him to be on my side here. How far back do I need to reload? Or at the least, is there a console command to reset his loyalty?

It appears that if you even mention the fact that there is a coin die to anyone else, they connect the dots.

I don't even remember ever mentioning it at all, but I have 90 hours in the game so it must have been a single conversation to a random ass NPC.

I think I figured out what was causing this. When you encounter Vavak in the Ruthard's courtyard the second time and present him with the evidence, it may be the "You've been minting coins" option as opposed to the "You've been stealing silver".

I don't know for sure, because I haven't got through to the point of picking up the key from that unmentionable place yet in the currrent playthrough.

Correct it depends on what dialogue you chose. Stealing silver is the one that gets Christian on your side.
I had the very same experiance as MidnightMist and chosed the mint option as my answer - I think the devs have not been very inaccurate with the dialouge answers in this scene, as it is a more correct answer "minting coins" (advanced counterfeiting) than just answering "stealing silver" - even if it is the same site of criminal actions (I cant see that there is any wrong telling about the secret minting operations under Vavaks command) - you found the evidence of this afterall and didnt incriminal Christian of Pisek in any way (perhaps the devs have other thoughts with Christian of Pisek and having him continue the criminal operation making mint for himself, but abandoned the idea without correcting the consequenses.
I thought that Christian were on my side since the Via Argentum quest, where we came to an understanding.
