Bows - whats the best bow?

I'm a little confused about bows, and I know there is some break point based on agility where draw speeds will improve. What I cant find out is what that point is, but otherwise see a lot of conflicting opinions.

I'm in the second map and have the cuman chief bow from the first half, and just grabbed an elm longbow. I have 18 strength and 21 agility, so from what I can tell, I should move from the chief bow to the longbow at this point?

The Ash longbow is the best at 230 power. Elm is the second-best at 200 and is tied with Ranyek's bow, which you can get for free a little later on.
