When is the Hardcore update coming?
They said it is in April but does that mean late April?

I have 2 weeks off work at the start of April and was hoping to restart (even though i haven't finished my first playthrough) and play HC mode. Mid game has now become a little dull as everything is a bit too easy imo. Sadly, i bet it will arrive end of the month

If you decide that you will not reload a save when you die. Same effect.

KCD Hardcore mode is like FNV Survival mode. Nothing to do with permadeath.

Exactly. I just want to level much slower and for survival mechanics to make more sense. For instance, i wan to always feel the need to consider how much food i have on me instead of carrying around food that i don't need to eat cause the hunger meter is too forgiving. I want more challenging fights etc.

Saving is never an issue unless you hate potion making.
