Is it even worth to perfect dodge with full armor ? [KCD2]
I saw alot of people talk about perfect dodge makes the combat easier etc. but dodge seems to be just bad when having a full armor or am i missing something ? my dodges are like half a step to a side and I need a few seconds before I can attack again, is it worth at all later on ?

Because it feels easier to just have heavy armor and play as a tank than light armor and try to dodge and get killed with two hits.

Or is there any way to have a good dodge with heavy armor ?

high agility = easier dodge

It's just a stats game, simple as that

armour does slow down the character but once you max out your stats which is very easy to do in this game the difference is negligible

Isnt light armor defined by amount of weight of armor you wear? If it so, then you can easily wear breastplate without mail and still be quite low on armor weight..

Me personally, i have a "light armor" dress setup which is also my stealth gear. and with it, i focus on decent protection for my head and arms, neglecting everything else.. and even with head protection, i only use some padded collars that can be hidden under cape.. you can easily wear light breastplate as well.. What i noticed, most of the hits that "hurt" are head hits, or arms hits (bleeding) .. you can survive everything else (unless you fck up grandiously).. Stamina and Stanima regeneration is more important most of the time.

So early on you need to be using light armor to he full use of dodging. Your vitality is low and your agility along with agility of the weapon make your stamina pool horrible. Weapon recovery will be bad as well because of the weapon level being low.

In short you’ll spend more time recovering from a dodge than the use you’ll get out of it. If you need me to explain the above I can I just need coffee in me just let me know.

You can. I have done it. I don't know the best timing.
I also notice sometimes my attack doesn't register. Or maybe I am attacking too early.

Anyway, I double click attack button after a dodge and that seems to work properly without any issue.
Dodge is very useful since if it gets you off line with the enemy sometimes they won't parry something.

You always want to dodge to side of the enemy, ideally to the side, from which the enemy swings. Do not dodge backwards as the game is wonky and you might get hit due to animation lock and enemy magically sliding in to get hit.

Perfect dodge works even in plate armor but the distance will be shorter, it does not matter if you use to in 1vs1 to get opening to strike rather than to reposition or get some distance between you and your enemies.

I use perfect dodge when I'm using maces as it is one of better ways to get your combo started.

I tried it the last few fights with my full plate armor and It seemed useless because I move like 5mm to the side and enemy just did attack me like I didn't move at all but I guess I try it some more

You want to dodge backwards for to build distance with polearms, i like polearms but fighting with them in full plate Is harder than in "light armor" mode, polearms block also hits their durability so you want to dodge always.
Also a good dodge can save you from a guy who has gotten to your side. Blocks may be king for 1v1 (except polearms because of durability hit) but in a melee you can't always count on the other guys to obligingly approach you from your front 90 degree arc.

Also most of the fights arent 1v1 and enemies tend to surround and get to your back, so positioning with dodges Is a thing.
Use the Dodge to line enemies up or get out from being surrounded. It's a very easy and effective tactic in some of the more imbalanced fights
