No "feed" option for Mutt?

The only options I get with L Alt are "Commands - 2" and "Behavior - 3". I can't get the feed option no matter where I am and his obedience is at 60 and dropping! What am I doing wrong?

i had a similar bug i guess, i couldnt interact with mutt at all just after getting him. The commands eventually and randomly came back i read that u could try hunting an animal

That never mattered, you can totally go "look mutt what I got for you" and not giving him anything, also if the case is that you don't actually have anything for him.


Since when does this happen anyway? Maybe something is stuck in terms of he being marked as in-combat or something.

I have a lot of food and I read he can eat raw meat for example - which I have a lot of. it's in 100 condition too.

i think from the moment I got him back, I never had the option to feed him. it's been several irl days since so i've opened and closed the game many times but still no feed option! he's also been in combat before!

Also, you could try to reset your key bindings.

IT WAS A MOD - I had checked my mods' pages but none of them seemed to be messing with that. I erased the one dog relevant mod I had (it's called Fetch My Dog in nexus, for anyone that might be looking all over like I was. it has more than 1K downloads) and it's fixed. thank you so much! <3

Most problems I read about seem to be linked to mods.

Try sending him home and going to get him. That fixed it for me when it got stuck on chat only. Not sure if it will fix it for your issue.

My issue was after first getting mutt it would be stuck on chat with mutt with no options. It would fix itself after sending him home. If I remember correctly Zhelejov for Takov and Devils den for Kuttenburg talk to innkeeper to get him back.
