Kuttenberg Miners archery contest "Popinjay Shoot" constant Crash ?

During the miners archery contest I just cannot finish it. It constant crashes while during the contest. And when it does not crashes, once you start the competition it, you auto loses and it triggers the cutscene...
Anyone else experiencing this ?
I cannot find any proper fix on google, from the few mentions that I found.

ahh man... sad thing too, I'm 2 or 3 missions always of finishing the game...

I have similar problem, when Im in the contest, I can shoot but my oponents do nothing. So the contest cant be finished and when I go away I automaticly loose.

Yeah, for me after 2 or 3 tries it brings me to the line and the contest never starts. I've only experienced it with masters.

ive reported it a few times. it seems the bug is in the archery range itself. after i crashed a bunch, i tried doing a normal contest outside of the miners one. same thing happens

looks like there isnt enough targets. all 3 of us get down to 3-4 arrows and there is only one popinjay left and the game crashes. i can never see anyone hit the last one. i even tried hitting targets to win then shoot my arrows in the ground quickly but cant

yea, that was possibly the reason. There is never enough targets to shoot. So at least for me it was 1 - game auto crashes after all targets available are hit or 2 - sometimes you auto lose, so you can move on. Pretty rare from what I've seen.

How to rollback KDC2 version it is not listed in betas as usual.
Am I overlooking something?

i just tried the popinjay contest at devils den, easy and medium contest works fine. did masters contest and crashed on the last target as well. so i assume the kuttenburg miners contest is a master contest as well
