> "you are scared of jews"
lmao
Of course the private profile would make up a strawman and bad faith ad hom out of thin air. no surprise here
Many such cases!
People have been complaining about Henry not being able to go as hard against the Cumans in the sequel.
I personally, do not care.
And regarding the Jews, though it would have been nice to have the option to opt out of the Exodus mission wherein siding with Jews against Czech civilians is compulsory, I can admit that Samuel is a well-written character, and there are some funny/clever quips made by other characters involving our different faiths, specifically by Godwin.
That said, it is both amusing that Jews get mentioned whenever “woke” content unpalatable to Christians and Muslims is brought up, and annoying that all criticism of the game’s more controversial content gets labeled “bigoted, nazi, etc.”
For the most part, Vavra did a good job at portraying Jews and Christians in the game without glazing Jews too hard at Christianity’s expense.
If this game had released prior to the current war in Gaza erupting, I doubt there would have been much if any controversy involving the Jews in this game. Being given the ability to remain neutral during the pogrom is all I’d want changed, honestly.
And maybe they could have not pushed the “brother” thing so hard considering Henry and Samuel are not connected by either blood or culture.
It's a video game and not a documentary
