everyone sees this
I've also encountered a bug where I finish the sword, the popup tells me it was tier 3, then when I open my inventory the sword is a tier 4 like I thought it should be.
I've seen some people say that if you have a low-tier version of the sword you're trying to make in your inventory already, the game can bug out and match the tier of that sword regardless of how well you do the forging. If you have a tier 2 dueling longsword in your inventory try selling it or sticking it in your stash before trying again, apparently that worked for some people.
If in the animation the blade ends up under the anvil it becomes difficult to understand where to hit with the hammer, with the axes which are smaller it is even worse.
It's not my problem, it's the forging that's bugged
Yup there's a glitch on longswords, but you kinda knpw where's the blade and can forge to max level
With other weapons you see where you strike, if you miss that's on you
I’ve seen this bug only during the tutorial. The next time I made a longsword it was on top of the anvil.
Yes some forges are bugged, just now in the Kuttemberg armorer's forge I got 2 M level swords
I had it the few times I've crafted a longsword (that's like 4 times), be it at Radovan's or somewhere else...
