Arrows drop way too fast?
Marksmanship 17, got that survival perk that gives more arrow flight and with hunting arrows + longbow something that costs 500 bucks. Full pull. Arrows still start strongly dropping like after 20-30 meters. Is this it or does it get significantly better?

Reminds me of the arcade arrow ballistics in total warhammer.

Right, and it's intended, as in many games, so you don't kill people 100m away

You can always kill people in this game, but I guess KCD2 was not designed to be Sniper4. :)

That's how arrows work.

It's a short bow. Normal people would struggle to pull a longbow of the era, people that did, trained from childhood and ended up with lopsided bodies.

You mean nerf arrows that kids play with.

Not sure if this counts but the dude here doesn't seem lopsided at all shooting with a 200lb bow. Also notice how much straighter and faster the arrow flies.

KCD1 was too easy when it came to hunting. The game ran in slow motion even after being shot at.
Now deer fly past you. Its nice to see.
If its too easy its not worth playing.
Get your marksman skill up higher unlock all it's perks use extended range arrows and the drop isn't too bad. I can hit from pretty far away

That is a 160ib bow, based on examples found on the Mary Rose, there are no other bows from the period around. But at "up to" 7 feet were written about. He is also only shooting ~10 metres. English archers shot a whole lot further than 10m, to devastating effect (Agincourt - Sorry France!) But they weren't amateurs, they were trained from when they could walk, pretty much.
