Can you pls summarize the story after the attack of Nebakov?
I just lost the track who is who, and why Henry makes an alliance with Zizka. Many new names just came up... Can you please help me. I am not in Kuttenberg yet, and Godwin just freed Henry and Capon. What exactly István wants?

I didnt understand everything but Hans and Henry go to fort nebakov with von bergovs force, because they want to convince von bergov to join their alliance by helping him with the supposed rebels in nebakov, they get ambushed then. henry beats zizka in a duel and that impresses him so much that he wants to keep henry as a fighter. everything after this i dont really get
?
There are 2 Partys
Sigesmund:
Istvan, von Bergow, von Aulitz

Wenzel:
Hans, Henry, Zizka.. and so on

Ziska watched Hans and Henry talking to von Bergows man at the start of the game.. so he tought they where Sigesmunds people and attacked them

Hans and Henry get tricked by von Bergow and Istvan to think Ziska and his men are just Bandits.. and they fight against Zizka..
that gets clear up after Goodwins arrival....
and now the Sides are clear with who fights on what Side

Yeah, it seems that the writers went for the Game of Thrones style "subverting expectations" and "no one is good or bad/morally grey" approach. I hate it. I'd much prefer KCD1 fairy tale writing where you're fighting the bad guys and it's clear who the good and bad guys are. I realize it may be a bit naive and not how real world works, but I play video games to escape reality.

Yeah but it's actually based on real history where you have a terribly weak King, surrounded by parasitic lower-nobility that were basically running the HRE into the ground. Therefore, in hindsight, I could make the argument Sigismund was justified
as he was distinctly aware the HRE is the only thing standing between the Turks and greater Europe.
Zizka is a famous historical figure, worth looking him up once you are finished with the game. At this stage in his life he was somewhat of an outlaw and after capturing you figures out that you are both on the same side against Sigismund

Where you are at the main thing is that Von Bergov has been leading you on the whole time and never considered joining your side against Sigismund. The new names mentioned like Jobst and Lichtenstien will appear later in the story once you reach Kuttenburg and their relevance will become clearer.

Istvan is a lackey for the bad guys and one of the main villains in the first game. He follows orders and what he wants doesn't really matter. In KCD 1 we weren't sure who exactly he was working for, in Nebakov we find out it's been Von Bergov the whole time
