Anyone know of a Mod to remove clothing damage decals?

So there seems to be certain clothes such as gambesons and hoods that are bugged to just permanently have the damaged decals even when fully clean and fully repaired. Anyone know of a mod to fix this? I find it a bit ridiculous that I just cannot find any way to get rid of the random splotches of grey and torn threads

I think this is meant to represent the age of the garment and wear over time. The newer the fabric is, the more likely it will be 100% cleaned/repaired when you launder. Over time, no matter how careful you are, it still wears down and the game expects you to replace it.

Hm interesting theory but I'm not sure, as I have seen the damage decals become suddenly clean before but it is sporadic. They also show up clean in cutscenes and in the character tab at times but then render ingame as faded or damaged
