Old woman with cats

I just arrived in front of a strange barn with cat meows coming from inside. A little further , a woman tells me she’s taking care of cats, but nothing special is happening. Is there anything I should do?

Though I never found a quest tied to her...her house is used on a certain treasure map though.

Its either not very well thought out, or bugged.
If you examine the 3 surrounding buildings, then talk to her, then the mystery is explained.

Unfortunately, it seems that if you talk to her first, then examine the buildings, then she won't elaborate further and its all left feeling a little strange.

Interesting that its seems to be dividing opinion to the extent that it has as to whether she was in the right or wrong.

Yeah I just saw your post, I was sure I could free the cats, but apparently not. Strange place
