Bathhouses won't clean all clothes

This is probably the most questioned discussion from my end. I don't see the value in cleaning clothes in bathhouses rather than laundry our clothes ourselves.

Sure you may get a buff in the bathhouse, but there are still dirty clothes in my inventory. In addition doing laundry will not consume any time that is a big plus for me.

Doing laundry should also automatically clean the items in the horse inventory.

Yeah... I don't use bathhouses. I make my own soap and use pondwater for that fresh mildew clean.
