The Simine Masacre
Did anyone else enjoy killing the people and burning down Simine? For me, I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ enjoyed it because ever since that wedding I got rejected by that chick that danced with me and crushed my feet and to top it off that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ groom put in jail and made me haul bags of charcoal and literally spent hours trying to find ways to get that fever potion for that captain and find a way to get Capon out of that jail. I'm glad that place got burned down I enjoyed every single second of it.

Destroying Simine is storywise the bad decision Berghof turns out to be a traitor and the Semine people supporting the bandits are in the right because the bandits are a merc squad on the side of king Wencel which Henry favors.
Had no way in knowing the full context. They were in league with the bandits that massacred your party at the start of the game. Good solders follow orders.

Those bandits killed my members of my party in the begining, they got what they deserved
Jindřich and Jan have supreme order from Racek Kobyla (Royal Hetmann, top-5 person by importance in the kingdom) and Hanush of Lipa to establish diplomatic relationships between Otto III of Bergau and Vaclav's loyalists group led by Jobst of Luxembourg.
So if Jindřich is skilled enough to interrogate a prisoner without torture (he's half-noble, not a neckar after all), he's basically obliged to tell the truth, and not to disobey orders of his father and Hanush.

And after that there's only one option - to burn Semine down. There's only one choice basically in that mission - would you burn it down after killing van Bergau's people or after killing Jan of Semine's people? And it's quite obvious too. By most feudal laws, the toughest sentence for Oldřich should be сashiering to a commoner. Also, no one could hang a noble in Bohemia, except for the king. And the number of feonies with death sentence (for nobles) was quite limited - crown treason or murder attempt of another highly-ranked aristocrat. Hence von Bergau's lieutenant breaks the law himself, and what is more important - he wants to murder a noble.

So you know what to do - switch sides, kill von Bergau people, and it's a shame that Semine's guarded estate should be burned down, but orders are orders. Jindřich dreamed about becoming a soldier in KCD1 and this is soldier life - to obey orders.

LMFAO.

I enjoyed that moment for the opposite reason. I got to turn against that bastard on the spot.

But this entire premise is why I enjoy this game.

Well there's 3 ways to handle that situation, did 2, glad though that someone enjoyed the 3rd way.... which is completely wacko but hey, enjoy

jup that was the clear intention of the developers to confuse the player which ones are friends, enemies or in this case its mixed. The bandits/mercs thought that Henris group was part of Berhof allies which made them a target.

I personally went for the "ignore Semine" route to keep the settlement intact. Otherwise the "attack Berhofs soldiers" would be the next best option because they betray you anyway shortly after. Destroying Semine is the worst because only the son of the lord there mangled with the mercs.

I won't even ask what did you do in your school after proms.

I never went to any dance in school, I was always the quite one in high school and never had friends. I spent most of my time building bizzare traps for wild animals since I lived near the woods.
Just got to that part- looking forward to it

no, they follow orders
thats what makes them soldiers
The thing I am most upset is that my Henry gave her a Roofie (Spiked Lullaby Wine) and she just danced weirdly and didn't pass out or anything...

I see the wrong arguments here:
It wasn't the groom fault Vulytek or whatever his name is the idiot that starts picking a fight. And it's not Semine's fault that chick ♥♥♥♥ blocked Henry either.
I hate weddings, in general and in game too. The best thing about it was cheating at dice to win and beating everyone with a wooden short in the Tourny.
Otherwise I wish there was an option to skip that miserable experience for an introverted Henry...

Ay nice, these are the same decisions I made, albeit for completely my own reasons. (I didn't torture the dude, not because he's a noble but because I'm not an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ; and I sided with Semine because massacring the entire family for the choices of the boy that nobody else in the estate even knew about is absolutely ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dog wild).
Good to know I got to the "proper" decisions in the end anyway hahaha
