due to story quests, you cant do a no crime run

and i never got random items with a stolen tag.. that i didnt pick up by commiting a crime

If you don't commit a lot of crimes it goes away over time
Does this affect the Theresa ending?
This is the fourth time ive seen this sort of post in the past few days. Idk if the trolls are trying a new tactic or something.

Is this some sort of attempt to build a case that the game is bad because you cant do a no-crime run? The whining about this game has been incredibly cringe and obtuse.

why is every criticism some kind of troll brigade to you people you rage every time someone says something while saying what they're complaining about is a non issue... why do you care so much

No the game does randomly add stolen items/groschen, I keep having to reload saves because of it and if you had typed fewer words into your favourite search engine than you did here by calling people "trolls" simply because you haven't noticed something, you would have seen other people talking about it. Yet you chose not to do that, you chose to be a "troll" in what is blatant projection because you're not here to either help the op or engage in the topic.

Op, last one for me was carrying the nomads son, 200 groschen or so added, reloaded same thing walking the woods and 54 groschen added. I changed my route and walked along a road nothing got added, another thread in here spoke of the possibility that a random nearby bandit event robbing something is being mistakenly added to Henry and there was another road, near the forrest I was walking through, so potentially that was it, by sticking to the roads, you should see any Bandit event. If that is what's happening. Also sometimes a bandit has already stolen an item and you can pick it up from their invent, it gets added like that too.

A lot of bandits are also flagged as civilians for the civilians killed stat.
Well i care and whanna know my statistics in game. As this game is really simple to get groshen if you steal. And its as bitfiend said it's a self imposed challange.

I mean if you didn't get caught by the guard, technically you're not doing a crime.
And yes fitzy it seems that if i happen to be in range of some random event bandits robbing pickpocketing of looting civilians, stolen stuff gets into my statistics. And then i have to reload again.

Yeah its definitely that, happened to me earlier on the edge of a town, saw the bandit looting. If you can see the bandits and get to them before they loot, you can save the person and get a reward (usually) trouble is you don't always see the encounter and for some reason the bandit is causing you to get a crime statistic. Am wondering now if this is also adding "Civilians killed" to the crime statistics, quite probably.

It is impossible to do since the story is written in a way that makes you gorilla fighters doing anything you can to defeat the enemy

Don't know how far into the story you are, but there is no way to do a no crime run as it is embedded in the story to do crime

Personally, I'm doing as little crime as possible.

Pick-pocketing I have not done at all apart from the tutorial at the miller. And seems I don't need to (80ish hours in). There probably is a quest or two you can do quicker if you steal keys or specific items directly from a person.

Lock-picking however you need A LOT, just to get into places and certainly there are many chest that contain necessary items and feels way easier to pick the lock instead of the person (for the keys).

Other than a few quest related events, if a thing says Steal or Rob instead of Loot I do not touch it. And there fore I do not have (ever) "random stolen thingss in my inventory.

Actively sneaking into people houses to rob them....so far have only encountered one side quest that tells me to do so (without there being another way to do the quest).

"random stolen items" they don't appear in the inventory, they appear in the crime statistics. Have you had a look in that?

Another thing i noiced is that I had to replay prologue three times to figure out that killing soldiers from the battlements with Godwin counted to civilian kills in statistics.

A bit difficult to say, since I don't actively avoid it. But 441 at Kuttenberg post Via Argentum....feels about correct for me. Don't know how stacks of items is counted (1 vs many).

Ps. On the other hand, 34 picked locks doesn't. Pretty sure that's Chests picked....For sure I've opened a ton of doors.
