"Striped Tonies" side mission bug - Miners dont spawn

After getting the side mission from the foreman, I run directly to the church and hit E to wait for them to show up, apparently the miners are just supposed to appear so you can talk to them to continue the quest, but they don't and the quest fails because it times out when reach midday. Shame, this quest looks fun with the shooting competition etc...

I did this by sleeping in until 6am and then running round to the church - worked perfectly.
