Does anyone else miss Auto Brew?
I love alchemy but sometimes I miss the simple time saving perk, Auto Brew from KCD1, does anyone else miss Auto Brew?

Frankly, despite completing KCD four times, including reaching significant level in Alchemy, I don't recall ever using autobrew, but I certainly wished I had one during Talmberg seige. It was mostly because of extensive order and time limitation, though. I wouldn't bother if I needed 3-5 phials. So far, I enjoy brewing in KCDII much more, with its more manageable boiling mechanics. I didn't feel like I need autobrew, yet

Ya most of the time it isn't needed. The first time I felt like I needed Auto Brew in KCD2 was the time sensitive Trotsky castle mission and the only time I really relied on it in KCD1 was the monastery quest.
me too ;)

i don't miss autobrew. kcd2 potions are way stronger than kcd1 so you don't need hundreds, the minigame's slightly improved, i enjoy my brewings.

I don't. I always took autobrew in KCD1, but I love the tiny little corrections to the brewing process in KCD2 that make it more streamlined. Specifically, the very simple boil and high-heat boil. That alone removes the need for autobrew in my mind. And I really love the meditative aspect of sitting down to brew a bunch of Bane poisons that I'll use to murder over 50 men with a bow.
Yeah, I miss it.

I'm always short on potions now. The Henry's Potions addition is nice, but losing entire ingame days just to stock up on potions is annoying.

Not really. I just didn't feel the need to level up my alchemy that much in kcd1.
Whereas in KCD2, I love making potion cause of the affect of strong potions or Henry's potion.
Even if they add autobrew to KCD2, I don't think it would brew strong potions or better.

Considering that, with significantly less grinding than it took to unlock autobrew in KCD1, you can brew batches of 6 potions at a time In KCD2, I don't see the necessity for an autobrew feature. I very rarely (think I've done so like 3 times in 50 hours after the initial potion grind) have to invest a couple of minutes restocking my potions in KCD2; it's really not a big deal, imo.

The only time I used Autobrew in 1 was the optional mission to brew 60 Cockerel potions. In this, very early on in the game you get 5+ potions out per brew, which is more than enough to do every now and then for about 15-20 mins.

I feel autobrew at 2-3 wouldn't save you that much time in the first place.
I also miss the mechanic that would automatically pull down the visor if I pulled out my melee weapon. I constantly keep forgetting to do that on my own.
1st i say yes
on the other hand you brew like 6-7 potions in 1 go

I miss it. I hate these crafting time waste.
With the way alchemy stacks buffs now I can make enough potions for the entire game in like 3 sessions so I don't really find myself missing it.

But how is it a time waste? It's a part of the game.

The time it took to 'get' to auto-brew in KCD1 took more time than getting the entirety of all potions you would need through the entire run of KCD2 (at least so far for me).
