Shooting at range target makes me wanted

Me: Loses 20 minutes of non saved progress or have to pay 200 coins for something I didn't do

Seriously was there an NPC anywhere down range? Maybe they mistook you for shooting at them.

BTW it’s best to shoot at targets in a competition because it levels up your character’s marksmanship. I believe just shooting at them on your own only improves your skills as a player but not your character.

That might also prevent misunderstandings with NPCs.😛

Yup, in fact you get more because you skip all the dialogues and waiting, and you can also decide how far you want to shoot at the targets from (further distance, more xp)

This used to happen to me at the shooting range in Pribyslavitz too. In this game, I've seen it a few times but, the worst one was at the Gamekeeper's place where his son runs the range.

Drawing a weapon or loosing an arrow even sorta near an npc is considered a crime despite the fact that some moron was wandering around on a live range, during a shooting contest.

That's just KCD.

if you are shooting at the targets they treat you like a criminal for having your weapon out, and don't have the capability of seeing you have a just reason for doing so ie pratice. the crime system is pretty much incomplete and requires through pathcing.

So basically at the castle there is practice range stuff and there is a NPC there for archery, the thing is his NPC routine is to go down there for whatever reason and when you shoot at the range targets he does "HUH?" and goes there to look what it was, then the next arrow you shoot bc he's close he's like "YOU TRIED TO SHOOT ME" either that or he's next to you and somehow also thinks you're trying to kill him

The Trosky quarry has another issue, the wandering idiot from the shack up top steals your arrows if he wanders by.

I never had any issues with the range at the gamekeepers though as it's far enough from the one dude he doesn't deep about it.

No iam not joking
Holding a weapon in your hand is a crime
try running around a town with a sword in your hand
or talk to npcs with a bow in your hand

You get this even when your done with a competition on a shooting range and dont put your bow away after your done... the NPCs will even tell you to put down your weapon or else
