Game Crash After Auto-Save (Bug Encountered)

Hi everyone,

I’ve encountered a frustrating bug during my gameplay. After the main game auto-saves, the game crashes, causing it to close unexpectedly. I am not the only one facing this issue—my friends have encountered the same problem. At first, I thought this might be related to the mods I was using, but later I realized that my friends, who are not using any mods, are experiencing the same issue.

This has really impacted my gaming experience, and I hope the official team sees this and can help resolve it. I truly enjoy playing Save Heaven 2, and it’s a real shame that I can’t continue the main storyline because of this bug.

If anyone has any solutions or insights, I would greatly appreciate it!

same here. since yesterday the game always crashes while saving. progress is impossible.
I deleted the shaders, I deleted all mods...its not saving anymore..

the last saved files are 0 (zero) kbyte
has someone an idea ?

i have this isssue since i'm on 2n map and the update, impossible to save, the story's saves = crash, save via main menu = bug , with or without mods, old saves worked well but not anymore. i send a ticket last week and wait for a solution

I'm having the same issue. I tried restarting, reinstalling, validating, loading other saves, deleting the save that caused the issue, starting a new playthrough, etc... nothing. It just loads a black screen with the HUD and background sounds. Plus it becomes a slug. I played 100+ hours saving with the schnapps and no issues. The one time I saved with the main menu, I got the bug and the game is completely unusable. I'm really ticked off about it.

did anyone find a fix for the issue. im stuck on X marks the spot and the game also keeps crashing on autosaving or manual saving.

Have a Raptor Lake Intel CPU by any chance? It does exactly that in like every game once it's broken

Hopefully the update tomorrow will fix this, I can't progress in any quests that auto-saves after dialogue, so i'm basically stuck.
It's also crashing when saving in a place that has multiple NPCs near me.

The update seems to have fixed my issue (after it re-validated). Fingers crossed, it hasn't happened again afterwards. Lost three playthroughs in the process though. I haven't changed my review yet in case the bugs repeats itself. I'll almost caught back up to where I was before the first time the saves corrupted. Good luck!

Nope, had to backtrack to an older save, and lost 20 hours of progression.

Go to saves folder and dele 0kb (broken) save
Use last valid save file in target field
