tournament is bugged

i start the tournament but eventually when i get to the longsword contest the opponent just bugs out and stands at the equipment tent and i cant progress. if i wait an hour it just skips me. I cant complete the tournament at all.

When you're doing the tournament, you can only equip tournament gears they provided you, including the weapons. If you're prevented from moving inside or getting out, its due to that.

No I can move in and out and I have their equipment equiped, the opponent npc just doesn’t walk into the ring and nothing happens. I reloaded and it happened every time

wait like < 30 min as soon as the move time thing starts moving it cancel it and the npc should hopefully be geared waiting in the corner, i experienced the same thing and that fixed it for me.

i had this happen to the last 3+ tournaments. tried everything like waiting, leaving etc sometimes it worked but most it didn't. it is def a bug that the devs need to look into

you even read what the op is talking about. whats anything you said have to do with the NPC bugging out. you do know the game auto equips the gear given to you right?

tournament is bugged. this same thing is happening to me.

Yeah. I was in a longsword fight and my opponent was glitches outside with just fists. He couldn't enter the arena due to an invisible wall and I couldn't leave cos of the same.
I punched him just at the entrance where hits would just connect and won...

Another opponent was just walking ul a steep tent... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ great Warhorse.

My first tournament experience was a group of npcs spawning in the middle of the arena, all stuck together and unable to move as they apologised to each other. They did eventually stumble their way out of that mess and took their places around the arena. I was never able to enter at all.
Waiting for different lengths of time, in different areas, talking to everyone I could interact with, quitting and restarting, verifying integrity of game files, reverting to earlier saves, etc.

No tournament for me.

I'm hoping I will get to do part of it at least, this time? I think I won't bother holding my breath for that, though. It's so bad, I'm sure patch #1 will try to fix this.

I stripped and put only tournament gear on but it keeps saying put them on according to rules?
