* The first crash was before the first hotfix and is alleged to be fixed (I crashed while managing/dropping inventory between player and horse).
* The second crash was shortly after the first hotfix, and it occurred when I was attempting to spam surrender to a handful of villagers intent on punching me to death while I was fully clad in plate armor.
So, this game does crash.....
You almost certainly have faulty hardware. It's a pain to deal with and can take months to fully troubleshoot. I just went through this several months back, and it was my video card. But the only way to know is to look at your system drumps following crashes. This will almost certainly help you narrow it down to the failing component.
Keep an eye on other factors, does it ONLY crash when gaming, or can it crash when idling too? There is ZERO chance it only crashes with KCD2 -- KCD2 does not and cannot reboot yur PC.
Also the crash/reboot only happened twice. I get many regular game crashes in a few hours, mostly happens when opening and closing inventory it seems so that I'm sure is KcD.
You first start your computer and you usually press F12 or DEL to enter the BIOS. Sometimes games are even faster with it disabled but I'm not sure that's the problem.
KCD2 was not made in UE5 (or any Unreal Engine). They're using the CryEngine.
I think Intel just jumped to their next gen CPU because they can't address these issues.
