Up then right then left
Start with the up attack...
Here is the tricky part. After you do the up attack the game automatically moves your sword to the left. So you have to get it over to the right. I found it easier to click and hold, and then move my mouse to the right in a feint style movement, but even just normal works.
After attacking for the right, you will automatically move to the left again...so after carefuilly clicking through the first two attacks, at this point just spam the attack button and you should do it.
After ytou do it the game litterally shows an info page basically saying this.
I don't think I have ever used this combo in real combat. There are easier combos to land that are just as effective.
I thought that the red markers were indicative of where you have to hit??? Henry stops or hits from some other direction regardless of what you are doing with the mouse.
I've pretty much given up, I'd rather train with Captain Bernard frankly.
And before everyone carries on about it being a skill issue - of course it is, that's why the dude is teaching Henry.
Some helpful tips would be great - am I not aiming for the red markers on the star shape??
Bring back Captain Bernard!!!
Combat overall just seems to be a kind of very cumbersome QT event mini-game, that descends into a slog-fest.
Maybe that's how combat was back then, but it's incredibly dreary, which is surprising as the rest of the game is highly compelling and 'not-put-downable', but I avoid combat like the plague.
I cant get enough combat now, and silver is rolling in aswell dont know what to do with it all LOL
It's a kind of flow. On real opponents it's best to combo after they've tired themselves out a bit or to finish if they're wounded.
