lol the worst bug yet

Am in a duel to join a brotherhood but I cannot equip the weapon I am meant to use.
I am not given it until the duel moment actually starts and am told I cannot change my clothing right now.
I cheesed this issue by losing the duel and equipping the weapon before challenging again.
I am now in an actual tournament and the same thing is happening.
Was given all the gear to use during the cutscene and cant equip my tournament sword even whilst I am just watching the fight before mine.

This happening to anyone else? Anyone got a work around?

And no, reloading has not solved a thing nor has trying an earlier save. I went back 4 hours to see if that may help.

There is no Fallout Brotherhood of Steel in KCD2.

Nah I am asking about weapons, the clothing thing is what the game says when I am trying to equip the weapon it gave me.
At first I thought it was because my slots were all full so I removed a sword from slot 1 and still I find the tournament sword in inventory, just got past one fight using only my fists for the game to then crash :(

Yeah, the tourney is a bit buggy for a lot of folk, myself included.

Did the tournament yesterday and didn't have this issue. To be sure, it is automatically equipped so if there is a sword in your weapon slot it is your tournament weapon.

Once I didn't notice that and thought I couldn't equip an sword or received it. So maybe you overlooked it as I have done before?

I did the brotherhood tournament yesterday. The other side got to wear armor and we didn't because they saw my dog running around the place :D Anyways, I didn't have any issues with the sword, it was auto equipped and I could use it normally. I won the fights and afterwards I still got that tournament sword in my inventory but I couldn't transfer it to the horse, but that might be just because horse inventory is full.

A reinstall seem to fix the issue.
