Bloated Cast
Did anyone else feel this game just had too many characters? IMO it detracts too much focus away from the interesting/important characters. Hans Capon felt relegated to a minor side-character after leaving the starting map.
Even Henry himself feels like a bit of a side character, with the story not being focused on him (which is in some ways understandable since it's not his origin story like KCD1).

Musa and Samuel are both pointless and did not need to exist at all.
Rosa and Katherine probably could've been merged into a single character.
Brabant could easily have been left out.
Godwin's presence is OK but we didn't need multiple sections playing as him.
Not sure what to think of Dry Devil and his gang (I like them but it's no less than 4 extra characters in a bloated cast).

Guess I'm just kind of salty we didn't get to spend more time with our homeboy Hans :steamsad: The quest "Like Old Times" was nice but too short and ends abruptly.

Strange if I'm the only one who takes issue with Hans being sidelined on the Kuttenberg map, but each to their own I guess.

He's not "relegated" though, he's one of the main plot points at Kuttenberg, If he's captured there is no army turns up at the end and everythings for nothing, the entire point of saving him from captivity, it makes no sense for him to be riding around the kings city with Henry going into taverns etc.

Narrative-wise, you're correct. But gameplay wise he's very absent. I think he could've accompanied Henry on one or two more missions. If he was too important to risk, he wouldn't have participated at the Italian Court.

I was also hoping for a bit of character growth (becoming a bit more respected instead of being ignored/overruled by the other nobles). Henry seems to have more sway than his lord.
