Upgrade from Standard to Gold edition

Hey there Warhorse Studios, this game was gifted to me by a good friend. Is it possible for me to either pay the difference for the gold edition, or can you add an upgrade package for those who have the standard edition?

It's been asked quite a lot. Just refund and then buy it again. I have done this a few times myself and it works perfectly.

Unfortunately it was gifted to me, and the person is difficult to get a hold of. So if I refund the game, the money will go back to him, and he'll think I was not appreciative of the present.

Perhaps I need to wait for release date to just buy the expansion?

What, even if you except the gift? I thought after you excepted it, it would be in your library.

I did receive this as a gift. My awesome friend gave me the standard edition as a gift. And I already accepted it a month ago - only now I am contemplating an upgrade :)

Go to support at the top tab of your steam app.

If you add founds to steam to cover for the difference and ask support probably they can help you.
Or simply wait for the release of the game. The base version already include the preorder bonus so you can simply purchase the season pass at release.

Yeah this. Your not going to loose out either way as long as you have pre-ordered. The only thing that might be off is that you might end up paying a bit more to upgrade.

Hey, thanks to everyone for your help. My friend agreed to a refund, and as such, I'm awaiting vouchers so I can pay the difference for the Gold edition.

I would have done what you said Silaf :)
