Fantasy World setting
I'd love to see these guys try their hand at a fantasy setting. Keep all the mechanics currently in, and add spell system, monster mechanics and boss fights.

No, there is too much medieval fantasy out there. Realistic historical medieval games there are not a lot of at all, we need more of it, especially when they do such a good job at it

Maybe an official non-canon fantasy DLC. That could be fun.

Iron or steel is what you need. Leave that fancy magic stuff to the Elves.

No. Go play Witcher.

I rather they continue making historical RPGs.
I’m interested in medieval history and honestly I think fantasy settings in RPGs have already been overdone.

Most historical games about the middle ages are strategy games. Kingdom Come is unique because it lets us experience this setting much more personally as an RPG.

Go play Elder Scrolls. It's right there for the taking. There's a reason why myself and many other people loved the first game, it's authentic (to a certain degree of course as it has to be translated into a video game).

And while they're at it, maybe they can get Todd Howard to dumb down the plot enough and turn it into The Recycled Scrolls 6.

While I agree there's a void of a true a next gen TES style game. I'd rather Warhorse stick to this formula and leave that void for another company to fill. I don't want to wait 10 plus years in between KCD releases like Bethesda with TES.

With this studios raw mechanics and story telling i don't think it would take them 10 years. Also, I wouldn't want them to drop KCD in favour of it.

I'm with Octavus' first reply. A DLC that's rendered non-canon by some means (like eating the wrong kind of mushroom soup with sour ale and imagining the whole thing) and making a parody of the whole medieval fantasy genre from the viewpoint of the average person in the realistic medieval days.

We've seen parodies from the viewpoint of modern people, fictional future people, and people inside the medieval fantasy universes, but what about ordinary people who lived in those non-fantasy days? What would they think about our modern creation of medieval fantasy?

Of course, nothing about that will be easy if the systems for it aren't already in place. I'd still probably serious consider paying a hefty price for a hilarious DLC.

I do understand your enthusiasm but Warhorse should not be the one to do it.
If/When KCD2 is successful I am certain we will see a lot more games that try to be like it and maybe one of them manage to pull off what you imagine.

Obviously Warhorse aren't going to do it but it would be cool if somebody made a fantasy game with similar tactile, immersive systems and attention to detail.

Imagine an Elder Scrolls spell crafting/enchanting system in the style of the alchemy/blacksmithing from KCD.

Sadly that's not going to be TES6 or The Witcher 4.

If they were to start making fantasy games as well as KCD games it would be almost 10 years between each KCD installment. And it took them 7 years to make KCD2. 10 years is conservative.
