oh he can one-shot you? never knew because I always just blocked or riposte his attacks and master striked him a few times. I wish we could actually kill him because it felt like the perfect moment and would've been pretty cathartic for both characters.

Im not shure a developer will answer a question in here but you realy just need to do what @glottis said. Block and riposte in time and you will get him :)

Is this for real? I was deeply disappointed by that duel cause I bullied him and won in like 4 hits. I mean... Maybe try and get some levels and gear instead of rushing the main story?

Skill issue. I ended up two-shotting this guy with master strikes.

More like a skill issue and underlevelled. I used sir valentine 4th grade sword, and only need 2 masterstrike to beat him, around 5-10 second to be precise

He can't one shot you.......unless you've not levelled.

It's incredibly difficult to not instagib him if you've played the game at all.

Not even talking master strike either, one donk with a hammer did it.

Well with good sword and being fully leveled all boss fights were easy, Istvan, Zizka, Dry devil, Eric :D all easy Zizka was one hit not even master just bash to the head
