Why so many save files

is there a way to limit how many saves? Have almost 100 saves

Not sure if there is a limit, you can delete and or backup the saves though under User>Username>Saved Games.

No limit it seems. The only limit is your local hard disk or SSD storage limit.

I think the limit is 200 or around that before you have to start overwriting old saves

Best to navigate to the save folder and copy paste it somewhere else as a backup as you're going along that way you can have a save set at the start of the game, a save set at the middle, and a save set at the end you can just copy back over to the main folder if you get my meaning

As for limiting saves so you have less than 100, idk don't think so. other than overwrite your saves as you go along and go in the save folder to manualy delete the autosaves I guess

Also, it will not overwrite it. Although I play with unlimited save mod, so that's that.

200 manual saves I play with unlimited save mod too and I said once you reach that limit you have to manually overwrite old save files if you want to save again

Idk what to tell you you must be a liar I'm at 408 saves but I have to keep overwriting saves I can't just keep making new save slots . I guess troll harder or learn?

Whatever it is, the save in new slot is no longer an option for me once I reached a certain point maybe not 200 exactly

I'm literally in game confirming what I just said is true so okay dude whatever you have to tell yourself I guess. I'm not lying.

Save without Schnapps and Unlimited Saving II. Mods.

No one is saying you lying mate. You think that yourself. Just because it is limited for you 200 doesn't mean everyone else applies. As I mention and updated above, I use both save mods. So the 200 save and re-write does not apply to me. No one is mentioning who is lying or trolling. That's not the point.

Sorry guys for being late for the party.
I was fed up with manually overwriting each of my saves, so I tried a couple things, one of them actually worked to overwrite the Steam Cloud aswell. All you have to do is
- Save the needed savefiles in a folder for good measure
- Start the game, and open the Saved Games folder
- Delete all the savefiles in the playline folder (since the game reads these files at runtime, you'll see that the continue button will grey out without any saves
- Add the needed saves back in the playline folder
- Exit the game

The game will do a quick sync, and voilá, you don't need to manually delete each save, and you can also make sure to have the data in the cloud.

Much appreciated! I know I did something like this on the first game but couldn't remember what I did.
