Trosky story pacing?
So I took my time and didn't head to the wedding until about the 40 hour mark.

But once I arrived in Trosky, the game had me feeling like every quest was a big rush. Not only with the bell tolls, but afterwards with NPCs saying they won't wait for me before riding out, etc. Or having to meet NPCs at certain times of the day (which makes you feel like there might be consequences for missing that window).

I've barely spent 2 days living at the castle and the game is already warning me that once I talk to Hans again, I'll be moving on (presumably to the Kuttenberg map).

Kind of annoying as I wanted to spend a bit longer here smithing, brewing potions and finishing other side quests in the starting zone.

Curious which quests, if any, were actually time-sensitive? The bell tolls definitely are, and I think the dude rides off to Semine without you.
I'm not sure if the torture can wait or if he gets executed? Or if Hans rides off to the fort without you?

Bump because buried on page 2 within 30 seconds...
Most quests can be done later. You can return to Trosky after you move on by taking a wagon. But yeah the story will pick up and kind of lock you into a series of big quest chains for a while where a bunch of stuff happens where you will be abit ''On rails''. I have not tested the time sensitivity of those main story quests but i think they will tell you either the NPCs or something in the story if you need to do things quickly.

Ok. The game did give a warning along those lines.
I might test out whether I can delay speaking to Hans to trigger that big 'on rails' segment.
A bit more than 70 hours and I only arrived in Kuttenberg, not just the map but the city (which is huge & awesome). So far I haven't seen any secondary quests that are time sensitive, only some main quests like you mentioned.
