Anna of Waldstein [SPOILERS]
Can someone explain the fate of Anna of Waldstein? I didn't see any option to save her during the main quest "The Feast" so I believe her death is scripted. However at the very end of the game King Sigismund's messenger reports that she is demanding compensation.

Did anyone else find this strange? Is this because news moves so slowly or a narrative oversight?

Yeah I'm pretty confused about that as well.
The raid on Raborsch is way before the robbery of the Italian Court.
I don't think she had sent that request before attending the council, so
at best it could be someone sending a fake message in her name, maybe someone who is about to inherit her properties? Would still be weird though.

KCD2 is not KCD1. KCD2 is an ultra-scripted game, like Oblivion or Skyrim, which doesn't want you to have any alternatives in playthrough. Sometimes it throws you a bone, but only to put the plot on the rails for the next 3-5 quests.
Unfortunately... I'm also sorry that she can't be saved. After the battle, she lay among the dead by the wall.

Do you even understand what is this topic about? Seems like you don't but still feel the urge to say something, huh

I have no clue, I herds she died, found the corpse and I was actually sad.
Answer is clear here. The request was send prior to events in "Feast" quest. It took some time to reach the king court.
