When do we get to the woke parts?

I just assembled Dry Devil's team and so far I'm still praising Jesus Christ and scrogging bathhouse wenches. There was one option with Capon, which I did not select because eww gross, but other than that, I'm not finding the hype that I was supposed to be outraged by. Am I missing something or did all of you just make s*** up? I'm pretty frickin MAGA, but I gather nothing here that should be triggering so far. So far, it looks like you guys distracted me from a great title with your proactive erroneous gheydar, so I'm curious why this got so bad that the devs felt the need to address the criticism. It was an exasperated response too, as if they didn't know what the f*** you guys were talking about. Am I missing something?

Yes, i believe that one dialogue option with hans capon at the castle after saving him from getting hanged is the first and potentially only time.

I believe if you ignore this dialogue cue then so does the game as over 40 hours in i have not been presented with anything similar.

Some other characters present themselves as possible or are secretly homosexual, such as the isolated herbalist who also happens to be the grand champion regional fist fighterand this can be discovered in dialogue with the correct responses and speech checks but seems just informative/character background and is not an 'alternative option' if you like.

To be honest, I'm far too busy reciting the Credo and/or a Hail Mary at shrines to notice such things. (Great perk, by the way.)

Though I did listen to a preacher in Kuttenberg discuss the Greatest Evil - women - so as a God-fearing soul, I might have to rethink my choices for companionship.

Everyone is crying about the African gent they shoe-horned in. He's alright, didn't really feel woke to me. Was actually a pretty loose rendition of a Muslim if I am being honest, given the fact that he references hot poo-nanny multiple times.

I'm on my second playthrough now (sped run the story, dealt with alot of underleveled pain just to see Henry's story) and I am spending more time doing side quests and I still haven't seen any of the "woke", its just the option for a few gay romances and a Muslim.

You can knock the bottom out of just about any woman of similar age you meet so I am not understanding what the problem is/was

That's what I am saying. All I keep hearing is "immersion breaking" and as soon as I saw him I though "makes sense, it's the "kings" camp, he'd have exotic people and things around"

Well, there is a shoe horned gay option with Hans and shoe horned Mali guy who tries to say how good they have it in Mali (surprise, surprise). But this is all 50 hours into the game. And there is no mention of woke stuff in any of those 50 hours.

Is it fine that it's there? For me it's not. Just because of the idea and because we all know where this leads for the next game. Dragon Age Origins -> Veilguard progression says hello. But overall whatever they shoe horned under guidance from above has not affected the game experience for me.

To sum it up - we are at DAO level of crap at the moment. Good game with a grain of crap.

I'm not American, but if I were, I would be MAGA myself. This game is not woke. The appearance of 1 black gentlemen and the possibility of a gay romance do not make a game woke. The game is just not the loud anti-woke statement that some hoped it would be.

Until now the only thing that has so far annoyed me is Henry fraternizing and singing Kumbaya with the Cumans (though you can choose a different path). Quite a different Henry than the one that wiped out Cuman camps on the orders of Captain Robard.

So far hans being a potential love interest, an old herbalist admitting he's gay after we punch each other in his garden and the knight black bart sort of hits on henry at a feast in trosky but you can just say I prefer women and woo a widow instead. None of the stuff is forced. Antiwokers became what they hate, annoying dorks.
