Capon is anglicized name for Jan Ptáček, who was a Bohemian noble and lord of Rataje nad Sázavou and Polná. There is nothing else to the name even if some would like to believe weird conspiracies.

so, according to wikipedia Ptáček means "Birdie" right? with all the birds around the world the developers chose... a capon. That's even funnier...
