whats up with not being able to heal before that fight cant sleep. so basically if you dont have heals after fighting a whole fortress your screwed thats kinda upsetting if im being honest makes no sense why you cant sleep or anything to even have a fighting chance against him its just unfair and the fact that he does not die

Have you tried to fight him with heavy weapon like a mace or a mallet? Yous should have a good one after Italian Court Armory.
It took me 2 hits landed on his head to beat him. He wasn't even able to hit me once.
I taunted him thanks to high speech, so it could make it so easy to land a hit.
