It is like the non-historical account of how the creator of the guillotine was executed by his own device. Game developers using AI to replace themselves out of a job in a not-so-far dystopian future. smh.

right leaning people!? Are you out of your mind or just don't understand how political spectrum works!?

I'd like to see that. From the way he was talking though I think he's talking about the drudge work rather than the creative process.

I think he has, since the release of KCD1, been creating a retirement fund to simply bail as soon as "possible", once he reaches his number he will disappear, mark my words...

Into the Spiderverse used AI to work on the shading that would've otherwise taken months of painstaking labor. What are you saying?

both "sides" do, if you account for Elon and his J'ish ilk who happen to be CEOs on big tech, in the end you got Fink & and the Wallstreet shoving whites/Asians out of jobs with DEI and these grifting big tech also pushing AI to kill jobs ( for all )

Yeah BUT you know well it wont stop on just "shading optimization", if you are a artist kiss a bye to your job, now they can keep a skeleton crew and waste pennies hiring QA ( show in the studio and have some snacks and soda for free while playtesting our AI generated levels )

AI is a good servant, but a bad master. Its work still needs to be regularly inspected by a well respected QA team (unlike what you're proposing). Otherwise everyone will see how cheap and uninspired the AI content is.
Also if you're worried about this cutting jobs, just remember that someone has to feed the neural AI the correct input in order to achieve the desired result.

When it's some Skyrim mod with AI voicelines and AI upscaled textures it's great.
When it's Warhorse it's automatically "AI slop" all of a sudden.

Sure you keep a single IT job to maintain your AI ( btw that can be offshored ) and let go of 15-20 people, profit.

You can put AI for good use but this is about creating a massive unemployment crisis, then gracefully offer a universal basic income on next decades, let alone flooding western nations with animals then ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about "overpopulation"

Vatra Studios is an employer. A proper developer.

A skyrim mod is one or two hobbyists doing things for fun in their spare time.

If you can't see the obvious differences here, I don't know what to tell you...

You haven't seen or remember when Bandai used AI to replace voice actors without their knowing on Naruto Connections haven't you ?
One thing if modders use AI as a fan project, fair enough. When companies go berserk claiming its the second coming of digital Christ and wagies are done then that's a problem
