Before Patch 1.3 everything was perfect
Before the new Update 1.3 everything was perfect... At least for me. Now I have:

1. Stuttering when moving around with the mouse and bad performance in general (in Tachau from 90 fps down to 45)

2. Vegetation is popping in during walking / riding

3. Textures and objects are flickering now

4. Strange bug with some trees for example in Troskowitz: When moving with "w a s d" the trees are shaking. When stop moving the shaking is gone.

So for me the new update is a step backward. At least technically... Hope there will be a hot fix soon to patch the patch.

I agree . Why no more testing before launch?

There unfortunately seems to be a pattern here of their patches breaking tons of stuff. Wasn't any different with the last patches. So yes, apparently they aren't really doing a lot of QA before they release their patches.

I think they are surely testing the new patches, but not exactly enough. But I agree... I also can't imagine how to release a patch with such problems like this massive texture flickering. Can't imagine the devs didn't notice it.

I think they are surely testing the new patches but each system is just different. There are so many constellations to build a pc. But I agree... I also can't imagine how to release a patch with such problems like this massive texture flickering. Can't imagine the devs didn't notice it.
Unfortunately, a bunch of PS5 bros are complaining about the same thing. So the PC excuse won't fly this time. haha

Try this from Dexter in another related thread:
type e_DissolveUsePermanentRenderObjects=1 in the console and it goes away.

While forests seem pretty much unaffected, the flickering in densely populated areas such as within the city of Kuttenberg makes the game all but unplayable. This needs to be addressed in a hotfix ASAP.

Yes, also have the texture flickering since the patch. Also some weird stuff with nourishment. I went to sleep with 87 nourishment, woke up with 102, and it's hardly going down even over several days.

Warhorse must be the only developer to make their game worse with every update :-D

Ups, my fault... Didn't know that. So yeah, that's really strange. It has to be fixed asap of course. Will see, maybe they are able to fix it today on Friday for the weekend :)

In my new game, I experienced 2 wolves walk into Tachov, where they got into a fight with the residents and guards. Never saw this before. Is this a bug?

I want to roll back to 1.2 :steamfacepalm:
Warhorse definitely need to apply more thorough regression test sessions before releasing huge content patches, it's better to postpone release than do it uncooked. Releasing at Thursday isn't also a great idea - too little time to aggregate and address feedback without interfering with someone's weekend.

This flickering issue is not only quite gamebreaking - it can be harmful for epileptic people, and such thing as audience's actual health should be a top priority for any developer.

If it is a bug it's a good one!

Yeah, this update introduced a lot of bugs that I never had before.
T-Posing Voyta, Horses that usually pull carriages suddenly are clipping into eachother while riding away from the carriage while the rider is just sitting there. Light effects popping up depending on where you walk and look.
Heavy object flickering yes
