I own gold edition but it says i do not own the new DLC?

I bought Gold edition , i even bought the lion crest DLC . I load up my game today eager to play the new brushes with death and it says " NOT OWNED" .Has this happened to anyone else ? I can just buy it , sure but that's why i payed 80 bucks to begin with .

Did you install the update? I know it seems silly to ask but it doesn't necessarily install automatically.

Yeah it does install automatically on steam with the update right ? I got the brushes with death splash screen and horse racing screen when i launched the game ,

When i right click on the game in my library and go to dlc it shows i own everything but when i launch the game it says i do not own it and i need to buy it .

I have the gold edition and I had to manually install it. Took me nearly 3 hours, lol.

Brother . please tell me how ? when i go to the store page it doesnt give me the option to install it , just buy it . I have never had a issue on steam like this , EVER. I feel so stupid . It says is own when i do to my library>DLC .

I definitely have a bug or something . I had to open a support ticket . Im not new to steam . I have been playing pc games and been using steam a insane amount of time so its not like i don't know how to install stuff on here lol . It shows i own The gold edition and it even says i own The Season Pass . When i Right click KCD2 in my library and go to DLC it shows i own everything even Brushes With Death , Except when i click it and it goes to the store page where it should say " In library" And the button where it should say "Install" , it dont ! I has a price and the option to purchase it instead . This is beyond frustrating . I would just go ahead a pay the 6 bucks but im worried i will buy it and it just wont work .

In my library where the play button usually is, it was an Update button. If yours isn't like that, then you definitely have a bug or something. Have you restarted everything? Steam and your pc? If not try that and if it doesn't come up as an Update then open a ticket. Sorry to hear about so much trouble for you!

Sorry, I missed this before I answered. Yes, it sounds like a bug. You said you opened a ticket, I suppose you just have to wait. I would keep checking to see if it works itself out but support should know about it, I can't imagine you will be the only one experiencing this...

Luckily i have the worlds best net where i live so isn't to bad to just reinstall . When i first launched it after the new update it crashed and said "Something" couldn't load because if a outdated mod i had installed . I did remove my mods but that didn't fix anything just allowed the game to launch. Im hoping Fresh install without mods might fix the issue . I had a similar issue with the lions crest DLC . It said i didn't own it . I had to have some copy there executable file that owned it and copy past it to my game folder to overwrite my .EXE and that solved it .

It didnt work . I have even cleared the download cache . Im close to just dropping 6 bucks to just to see if i can play it .

What is the size of yalls KCD2 folder after the new update and after you installed Brushes with death ? If anyone could tell me it would be a huge help . Or if anyone would be willing to copy there executables and let me paste them to my folder to see if that solves it iwould be FOREVER IN YOUR DEBT !!!
