You know one thing I ask from developers in these crazy times year 2025? Honesty.
If you want to follow this path, if the message is so much more important for you than respect and sales, why not say it at the beginning?
Perhaps not all people on the team are supporting it? perhaps there are already enough people that insist to include certain elements while others strongly oppose them?
But what do I know. The reality is this, they said nothing about this stuff, they made sure to mislead people that the game would be faithful continuation of the first game.

James Cameron and Stanley Kubrick were notorious in being “of their own mind”. A good quality to have in a director I think. A lot of the bland rubbish we are fed as entertainment today is because it is developed by committee rather than one guys vision.

He is just a writer, director, designer and co-founder of Warhorse.
