I was Warhorse's biggest defender

I didn't believe all the nonsense and as it turns out 99% of it is horsecrap. Looky, I've been looking forward to this game for years. Warhorse were 'the chosen ones'. In any other game I'd not give a toss that the main protagonist was given an opportunity for same sex fuzzy bumping. But this is Henry. Henry is straight. If he could be otherwise, he'd have had the opportunity back in Skalitz. You can play him as a saint or murderer, but he's straight. Theresa, Stephanie and all the girls at the bathhouse can attest to this.

So why now ? I don't care how hard you have to work to make it happen. It should NOT be a thing. Period. Why is it there ?

This isn't Ubisoft or Larian Studios, where I expect to be inundated with this crap. This was a studio I place my faith in.

Then there's this dude from Mali. Go find Mali on a freaking map. It's in bloody west Africa and was not part of the Ottoman Empire. You want believable diversity ? Put some Ottoman Turks or maybe some actual Tatars or Mongols in there. Putting a guy from West Africa in Kuttenburg is as much of a stretch as the little Chinese chicky who ran the trading shop in the viking settlement in ENGLAND in AC Valhalla. It's a real stretch. So again, I don't care how well written he is or how likeable a character. I know why he's there.

Couple that with the DEI hire running the forum, and I'm out. KCD1 conversations were always spicy and loads of entertainment. Does Steam actually believe a lot of us will stick around with some over zealous uber PC school mom hovering over us with a switch ? Think again. I've already been banned once for defending the bloody game...............

I've thought about this too. Vavra should have told his publisher, in no uncertain terms, that this was unacceptable as it just reeks of 'woke' and tarnishes his game.

Damage done. Even I, his most ardent defender, don't want to play this game any more. It's like finally getting a date with the most beautiful girl in school, but knowing in the back of your mind that last week she did the entire football team. The entire experience is now tainted for me.

Happily, I have 80 lords left to play in Warhammer.

You have no discernible reading or comprehension skills do you ? I played BG3 and gave not a tinker's cuss that there was gay stuff shoved at me. It's because I expected it. Ditto Dragon Age Inquisition. Ditto AC Odyssey. I could go on, but you don't care because you just want to REEEEEEEEEEEE.

This has nothing to do with me being a homophobe. It has everything to do with a studio lying to its customer base.

Same here mate, I had faith in Warhorse Studios until the leaks happened. Dev was keeping quiet about it and then gave vague answers after getting exposed. Then he got so sensitive and toxic that he started to become aggressive and attacking random youtuber and fans. Already cancelled my pre-order and I will be supporting other Asian DEI free games

This is the mentality of the left. Simply pointing out based reality is considered a hate crime.

I have no issues with Vavra going after actual vile anti-Semitic pieces of trash who attack him on 'X'. I applaud him for that. I do have major issues with him lashing out at youtubers who want to be on his side but are just reporting on what they think and observe. That's crossing the Rubicon, right there. I understand the pressure he's under, but he didn't play us straight. Sorry. We've been burned and insulted by devs way too many times to let that slide.

I gotta agree. Them saying "its possible and got a reason to be there" is total crap when it comes to Musa. It loses its meaning when you hear about this. No matter how well explained, such story and him even making it there alive makes no sense, odds are just too low and if's are too much.

I don't think it was at all unrealistic to expect WH to live up to the promises they made. A lot of us basically feel like we've been lied to, and that's not a good feeling. All of the things players are objecting to were hidden from us - that's the issue. That is way way way more important than the insertion of these elements into the game in the first place.

KCD1 was pretty special. KCD2 might well be better, but having lost respect for the developer I find myself on the same side as the so-called 'chuds'.
