I read some articles who discussed that topic (especially child r*ape from priests) and how far it goes back.
And the middle ages weren't as prude about sex, as it's portraid.
The male population at that time had much more leeway than the female population.

I agree, I honestly couldn't care less if there are homosexuals as long as its believably portrayed and them being less prude about sex then should make that clearer, obviously with the caveat of laws.

I kinda feel like there is a lot of people who are actively against this and just happened to find space within the first game where it is not touched on as much (apart from the hinted homosexual relationship). As long as the historical context is maintained and the characters and their choices make sense I will play the game.

There a publicly avilable documents about those sex in the middelages. Prague has a lot of them papers about that.

I do not think that henry would be gay as he is so close to nobles, it would be a big stone to hide.
