This guy said that all this zhite was causing people to refund in masses which was a lie. No one was refunding and had never bought it in the first place.
So this you-tuber needs to do his research before spouting rubbish.

Both are at fault here.

Vávra should shut up, he is a PR disaster, even if the game is good. Plaion is gonna kick his butt. Also, he made a mistake, as the one with "mass exodus" in every single title is Endimyon, not Rev.

On the other hand, Rev could have used a better title for this one (and many others). It is really annoying to see all these clickbait titles, and it is objectivly misleading, as it's based on seeing "I'm gonna refund" thread titles here, not actual statistics.

and rightfully so characterises this as grifting. The reason is because Rev creates a drama around the added Code of Conduct in this forum, which has nothing to do with the game, and which has nothing to do with the developer Warhorse themselves. It is a typical behaviour of grifters on the internet to artificially create such dramas, because that is how they can attract most viewers. If they would just make a video about how exciting this game will be, their viewership would decrease.

Now regarding the added Code of Conduct to this forum: reading some of the posts which were made over the last couple of days I strongly believe that this clarification by the moderators was necessary. Steam forums should be there for discussing video games in a civil manner, and they can also be a good source to get information about the game (like guides and things like that) and for trouble shooting (once the game has been released). They do NOT exist in order to engage in the culture war. Please stop this and enable players who really want to play the game a chance to use this forum as a valuable source about the game.

I would say that's completely justified. Look around, it's been posted by some HR chick for virtue signaling, it is 0% enforced. It's only purpose is clown farming, nothing more. Ironically, the chick got 0 clowns so far. That's 269 clowns worse than the "reward" for CD Projekt pushing a similar thread related to Witcher 4.
