Question about the character who potrays Musa of Mali
They call themselves Musa of Mali and KCD2 is all about keeping historical accuracy, words of the developer. If thats the case why then potray someone like Musa of Mali who by historical context was already dead when game is set in 1403? On Wikipedia and many other sources its stated that he died in 1370s

It is not Mansa Musa I guess who died 70 years prior. Just some wandering Super Scholar running around educating the dumb masses on Woke Ideology and such.
We don't know who exactly this Musa in the game is. We'll have to wait till the game is released.
Its prob fictional. Like Henry. You do think Henry is King Henry from England, heh.

So its essentially probably just a fictional character, fair enough. I got confused tbh lol. But I was confused as to why co founder of the studio would say like that character appeared in Sigismunds royal court, like the possibilties of that are probably very minimal but whatever. At least I know i was confused, since I thought it was supposed to be actual Mansa Musa which it isnt, thanks o7

It's not unlikely that there where people from Africa and arabia visiting Bohemia. It would be rare, but not at all unlikely.
Considering how sophisticated and rich in trade Bohemia was at the time i would think both the Caliphate in Andalusia, Arab and African countries would engange in trade.
This kinda stuff happened all the way back to the Roman empire, and probably even earlier..
One black dude? In a 2025 game? That's...acceptable heh

Tokenism is what it is.

Could be! But if we look past that, do you agree that the presence of a black man in Bohemia could be possible during this period in time?

From the screenshot (if it's even real) he doesn't look like a ruler to me lol

He's simply a fictional merchant named Musa, the reason he would have visited the royal court is because he'd be considered an exotic trader/merchant, he came from far away.

People need to stop thinking that KCD is in 2025.

This was such a cringe comment.
