I keep hearing stuff like "Henry is not gay" or "Henry is not Bi" and that they ruined the character. Good News everyone, he is STILL not Gay or Bi, unless you the player make him so.

Henry is a player insert character, his is what you make of him. He is YOU role playing as him . I know some people took their Henry in vastly different directions, which is the hallmark of a good role playing game... The ability for the players to choose.

Some people decided to turn Henry into a womanizing, scoundrel that robbed everyone in sight and slept with the Bath Wench after a good Robbery.

Some turned him into a mass murdering Serial Killer, that would stalk and kill people at night until the law caught up with him and his story ended at the end of a blade/rope.

Some would be role play the Noble Knight who would follow his own moral code and try his best to be a good person and help people. Since he is a upstanding moral man of course he saved himself for Marriage.... and there is a Achievement in the game called "Virgin" in KCD 1 as the Rewards.

Do some of those insult your idea of what Henry should be? Good because its not your Henry we are talking about. A Player Insert character is just that a Avatar for you to role-play the character, the more tools and options available the better for the player because he gets to decide the how that characters journey goes. So please just calm down and enjoy the game. Henry is no different than before, unless you the player want him to be.

Yeah, it's weird cause people keep talking about heterosexual "canon Henry". But, there is no "canon" Henry as all decisions were wiped via no-save-game-integration. I feel like none of these guys even played KCD, they're just latching on to the culture-war aspect of the argument.

Don't wanna be 'gay Henry'? Just like IRL, don't pursue men sexually. No one brigaded any RPG like this I can remember... this seems all way too deliberate and organized.

Yeah I saw the Dev call someone a Nazi on X and I knee jerk thought he was just doing what the left does (Which is why crying wolf is dangerous people) but then I saw the dudes profile and oh boy, he had a ton of Anti Semitic stuff alone with a Swastika or two... Might have just been a troll but sure looked like a legit Nazi to me.

If you wanted him to be referred to as "That guy" or "him" in all voiced dialogue and nobody ever actually saying the name. We see this all the time in full player created main characters. For the sake of the story the devs decided to go with a semi blank slate farm boy, I mean Blacksmith.

If you do not like it, don't play it. Nobody is forcing you. However if you enjoyed the first one there seems to be zero reason to even think you won't enjoy this one.
