Geralt is unapologetically straight. Dude bangs every chick he comes across. The game is also set in a complete fantasy setting, and one gay character that appears for 3 minutes is hardly 'woke'.
Cyberpunk is set in a dystopian and hedonistic timeline and you're playing as a completely free use custom character.

Compared to an historical, medieval game with an already established straight character, whom devs specifically said is not bi/gay a few years ago.
