people crying over the game having gay characters is weird

if you are getting angry over a game having gay characters is just insane to me. i would understand if it was forced but it will not be forced on us. what, can you only play games that has 100% straight characters? this game is not woke just because it has some gay characters you will prob never interact with except the Sir Istvan Toth (if he now is). every scene will be able to be skipped, i don't think they will force it on us and be told to like it. i am very positive they will not force anything on us. the only thing i have heard people calling gay is the start in the pond but they literally looking for girls in that trailer moments later. this is not vailguard or any other game where being gay is their entire point of the story.

now if they end up going down this road like vailguard and avowed they will have big problems and they will fall like everyone else. im not saying they are perfect or without wrong but these bad games are the result of everyone complaining about everything and throwing everyone under the buss thinking they are heros. phone games got so bad because people kept spending all their money and not taking a stand. but here we are because a few characters might be gay? and we are shocked that we are getting these safe woke bs movies and games.

if you want to enjoy the game but not support the developers for adding DEI slop (and maybe even remove the content in question yourself) there are...other options (:

We know it seems trivial but there is a bigger context so we dont care.
There is a huge culture war going on and in the light of recent years of games pandering to the woke enemy it is not tolerated anymore.
The whole woke ideological package is civilisation destroying stuff and we are finally fighting back. SO, as I said, we know and we dont care. Bigger things are at stake. Children/teens form their outlook of the world through, among other things, games.

That's not being hypocritical at all and your example is way off the mark (Grindr is a social dating app, not a single player video game. Do better next time). The goal of a boycott is to not financially support something. By pirating it, the goal is achieved. Not sure which part of this you aren't grasping.
