Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

View Stats:
Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 will break a world record
The script of the game comprises over 2.2 million words, which has never been achieved by any other game before.

For reference:
the script for Baldur's Gate 3 had 2 million words (former world record)
the Bible has around 800K words

So the game will be HUGE. And in the light of this information I want to point out that it is very strange to me that some make their decision of playing or not playing the game dependent on one single scene that apparently unveils a closer relationship between two male NPCs in the game (which is not even fully clear at this point). This is like as if you cancel the ordering of a big pizza because it contains a tiny slice of an olive that you may not like. Or, as another example, many parts in the Lord of the Rings are boring to me, but the book as a whole is fantastic and it is one of my most favourite fantasy novels.

So don't miss this potentially great sequel to KCD1 that, once again, will immerse you into an authentic medieval world just because of one little scene in a 100+ hours long game.

Wrong. Visual Novel count as games. The upcoming Rance X has over 3.8 millions words. Almost the double amount.

Wow, that's of course quite a different benchmark then. I saw a video about the claim that KCD2 sets a new world record in the length of the script for video games, so I guess they excluded visual novels then.

You can see the script for this game in the thumbnail of the video.

Fallen London is over 4.5 million right now.
I see, and there may be more examples like this. I guess what they mean is games which are in the spectrum of high budget AAA video games. That's where the script for KCD2 will set a new world record with its 2.2 million words.

Sure, a game which one can finish within 4 hours and which is a puzzle platformer...
People have already debunked the gay scene as a troll against the alt right. And they fell for it hook line and sinker.

No they do not. No game present.

OP I don't know how much amount of copium are you on, but you are clearly delusional that this woke and mid game will break records like chad games like Black Myth and Elden Ring. The early leaks and the toxicity and dishonestly from the dev have definitely affected the sales. Alot of gamers have already refunded and some are still on the fence while waiting for trusted reviews
